Welcome! GRID Madison is a real estate investment community based in Madison, WI—built by investors for investors. We are a group of real people doing real deals in our local marketplace.
Our core mission is to connect to, learn from, and collaborate with like-minded people interested in growing their businesses and creating long-term wealth.
We welcome investors of all experience levels. We are life-long learners and believe everyone has value to share.
How it works
We meet once a month, 12 months a year, on the same day, week, and time of the month.
Each month we cover a different investing topic in the lifecycle of an investor—ranging from wholesaling to rehabbing to becoming a bank through private lending.
Our meetings are not sales pitches.
They are opportunities for us to dive deep into a real estate topic, connect with local experts in our marketplace, and build long-term relationships with other doers.

John is an experienced entrepreneur with a strong background in real estate and remodeling.
He brings a well-rounded skill set across negotiation, sales, property management, and relocation.
With a foundation in business, management, and marketing from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, John combines hands-on industry experience with a sharp business development mindset, making him a strong operator and leader in the Madison market.
About Imani
Imani is a commercial real estate broker and investor specializing in off-market deal discovery and investment sales.
He works across multifamily, mixed-use, and value-add commercial assets, connecting high-quality opportunities directly to serious buyers.
His network includes 1031 exchange investors, private equity groups, family offices, syndicators, and experienced operators actively deploying capital.
Imani brings a strong pulse on the private market and a clear edge in sourcing deals others never see.
About Michelle
Before real estate, Michelle built her career as a TV journalist, where she developed a talent for listening closely, asking the right questions, and breaking down complex information.
Today, she brings that same clarity and communication to her clients, guiding them through important financial decisions with confidence.
Known for her professionalism and energy, Michelle combines market expertise with a media-savvy approach to marketing, helping properties stand out and clients feel fully supported every step of the way.
