#3. Richard Schulman—Creating a Plan and Executing: How this Serial Real Estate Agent Built Up His Investment Portfolio

Richard Schulman is not your average real estate agent. Early on, he decided to acquire real estate rather than solely focus on sales volume. Today, while running a real estate agency, he also owns an extensive portfolio across Los Angeles.

Richard is one of Keller Williams' top producing real estate agents in the Los Angeles market, one of the highest markets in the country. Growing up with a good financial upbringing, Richard knew early on that money was important. As a young agent, he noticed that while other agents may have had a high sales volume, they didn't own any real estate.

He felt that they weren't utilizing the MLS to its full potential, and he chose to set himself apart by investing in his wealth. After buying his condo, he slowly started buying other income-producing assets simply by utilizing the MLS.

Today, he jokes that he owns 126 toilets!
